had an ok day, but i am tired for some reason. maybe because it is the end of the week. i worked a normal week, and ran for 21 miles. i hope that is not is because i would like to do more of that. it was just kind of strange that it hit me today. i had been feeling fine all week, then it hit me. it is also a little concerning since i have to work a long day on monday, and when i start the week out that way, it only gets worse from there. there is room for cutting back the running, but i am into the swing of training for the half, and am really having fun. i am hoping not to cut back. i am hopeful that tonight and tomorrow night i can get a little extra sleep. even just 30-60 extra minutes can make a big difference (i hope). i met porsche at the gym again, and those three miles just flew bye. it was a lot of fun, and i think bill is happy she has someone to go to the gym with. the motivation works both ways.
the memorial attendance last night was 193! i think that was record attendance!
today was a totally normal day. i was hoping to get some shopping done, but stores were busy since today was good friday. a lot of people had today off of work. maybe i can run out tomorrow, or sunday, if the stores are even open on easter sunday. the good thing is that i can catch up on reading and sleeping. i work in the morning, but after that my day is free. sunday i'm going to the meeting in the morning, and i want to go out for a 7-8 miler, but i have no plans after that. i am seriously hoping to rest this weekend.
i at some point have to remember to call bob and tell him about my great time in/at the race last sunday. i have also discovered a cool website www.athlinks.com it has all these events and times that people have done, including myself. i have set up a profile on a homepage, and have had fun poking around the site. i have even set it up to keep my next races ahead of me, so my goal races are on the screen in front of my face. there can never be too much motivation.
